used to do this on facebook, but as the social media platform has cannibalized itself and become useless and evil, i am transitioning it over here to my personal website, which is also useless but in more of a moral grey area

"Spectre," 2015.

uh oh, guess i'm dumb and bad at watching movies, because i liked this one!

it likely helps that i went in with extremely low expectations, and already knew what the godawful twist was, and yes- it makes no sense, the script is pretty stinky, sure sure

but i think this is actually craig's best acting in the series (so far, i still haven't watched no time to die), i believed the love story with lea seydoux (sure it was quick and not heavily motivated but are you telling me it would take you longer than a couple of minutes to fall in love with lea seydoux? alternately, it would take you longer than a couple of minutes to fall in love with daniel craig? i do not believe you). the opening in mexico is *very thrilling*! the part where bond asks a mouse who it's working for is *very cute*! it's got ski lifts and train fights and some goofy bullshit. it's pretty good. i like it
