very uneven, but has enough idiosyncrasies and high points that make it a blast. barbara carrera is a hoot and brings a lot of energy, connery is giving a great performance, relaxed, charming, funny. i really loved klaus maria brandauer's laid-back insanity, thought rowan atkinson's goofiness complimented the goofier style this time around, loved the new harried, miserable Q and the deeply underfunded MI6. video game sequence was silly and stupid as hell, but still fun

for all its faults, leagues above thunderball
